Anemometers are wind speed meters but they aren't all the same. Most people are probably going to be familiar with this device which is actually a mechanical wind flow meter that normally uses three cups but there are other types too. 

All over the world we are seeing Anemometer enthusiasts gain interest in Wind Speed and Wind Direction for many different reasons. This Hub Page is another place where an Anemometer Enthusiast has decided to leave some information that might be of interest to those who are looking for more information on anything that I have been thinking about recently. There is a limit to the amount people might want to absorb about wind speed and direction and so I will try to write about other stuff if I can. I like engineering topics but there is too much out there. You might find something different here because I am thinking about a lot of things at the same time.
